Great garage light
I put this light over my garage and it works perfect
Q: Are lighting arms flexible to fix lighting location? Look like they point up. Thanks.
A: Yes, the light heads each spin in 360 degrees where they mount to the base and also have a pivot point in the arm so they can be pointed in any direction independently of each other. Both the spin action and the pivot have can be tightened down to stay in the position once you have the light head aimed where you want it. Please give us a call for more information at 800-674-9420 or you can reach us via email at [email protected].
Q: what is the range of the motion detector?
A: Depends on your conditions. With some ambient lighting and no wind its probably 50 ft. Darker and windy will drop that to 30ft average.
Q: Does this light require wiring
A: Yes, this light does require it to be wired up.
Q: i want to install these lights under an overhang, not a on a wall. will these work on a horizontal surface rather than a vertical?
A: One of the photos shows this fixture under an eve, so I would say yes. It also appears that the motion detector has a ball and socket type installation making it adaptable for a horizontal installation
Q: Is there a setting to give me the choice of using as a dusk to dawn light? Does it have a photo cell sensor built in? Also who is the manufacturer? Thank you!
A: One of the settings on the sensor allows this light to be used with just the photocell and without motion. The photocell is built into the sensor. The manufacturer of this light is Rugged Grade, fantastic manufacturer that focuses on using high end components like the LED drivers to ensure a products last and they are backed by a 5 year warranty with our US Customer Support for any technical help.
