For building exteriors, compare wall-pack style, cutoff pattern, lumen output, voltage, IP rating, photocell type, and whether motion sensing or dimming is needed. A simple photocell works well for all-night perimeter lighting. A photocell plus motion sensor can keep the area at a lower level until activity is detected, if the fixture and controls support that behavior.
