E26 is standard household size. This popular base now has a wide range of LED options for homes and commercial fixtures, including standard A-lamps, specialty bulbs, and higher-output corn bulbs.
LED light bulbs are widely used for their bright light and energy-saving quality. They are suitable for both residential and commercial purposes. However, there are various types of LED light bulbs that have different base sizes and shapes. Here we will explain some of the most common LED light bulbs: the E26, A19, and LED corn light bulbs.
E26 is the size of most light bulbs used in the United States of America. It is referred to as having a standard base. E26 is considered as the standard because the holders or bulb sockets in the US have the size of an E26 base. The letter "E" represents the base of the bulb. This is named after Thomas Edison and is also called an Edison Screw. The number following E indicates the size in mm of the external thread screw. Therefore, an E26 bulb has a 26 mm base diameter. (The E27 is the common European and rest of world size) The larger mogul base or E39 LED Bulbs have a 39mm base.

The letter A represents the shape of the bulb, which is usually pear-like. The number following the designation A indicates the width of the bulb in one-eighth inch units or in mm.
The most commonly used A-series bulb is the A19 bulb, which is 2 3/8 inches or 60mm wide and 110 mm in length. This is the classic shape we are used to, although we may also like other LED Lights as well.
People shopping for light bulbs are often confused between A19 and E26 bulbs. Any bulb that has a standard base size of 26 is an E26 light bulb. It can be of any shape or size. A bulb that has an E26 sized base and a pear-like shape is also an E26 bulb. However, people tend to call it an A19 bulb. This is not accurate. It is not true that ALL E26 bulbs have a pear-like shape with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches.
The lesson here is to keep base size separate from shape description. You can get any bulb, but if it does not have the correct base size to fit in the bulb sockets or holders, it will not fit the fixture. Always get the bulb that has the correct base size so that it can fit in the bulb sockets at your place, either home or workplace.
LED corn light bulbs describe their shape. This resembles corn kernels. They are one of the fastest-growing bulb types because they are more energy-efficient, have higher lumen outputs for applications like wall packs, and are highly cost-effective. Users find them a great replacement for larger bulbs that the standard A19 cannot replace.

The difference in E26 bulbs 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K is the color temperature of the light they produce. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) and indicates the hue or tone of the light, ranging from warm to cool. The lower the Kelvin, the warmer and more yellowish the light. The higher the Kelvin, the cooler and more bluish the light.
E26 bulbs 3000K produce a warm white light that is well suited for homes, churches, or restaurants. It creates a relaxing and cozy atmosphere that is pleasing to the eye. E26 bulbs 4000K produce a natural white light that is well suited for offices or other work areas. It provides a clear and bright light that is conducive to productivity and concentration. E26 bulbs 5000K produce a pure white light that is well suited for large spaces and outdoors. It offers a high level of visibility and security that is suitable for warehouses, parking lots, or street lighting.
E26 is the standard household light bulb base size used in the United States. The 'E' refers to Edison screw, and '26' indicates the diameter of the base is 26mm. It is the most common base size for residential and commercial bulbs.
E26 refers to the base size (26mm Edison screw), and A19 refers to the bulb shape (pear-shaped, 19/8 inches wide). An A19 bulb with an E26 base is common, but E26 base bulbs come in many different shapes. Always check the base size to ensure compatibility with your fixture.
E26 LED light bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs. They also last significantly longer, reducing replacement costs and maintenance needs over time.
E26 LED bulbs come in various color temperatures: 2700K produces warm white light well suited for homes and relaxing spaces, 4000K provides neutral white light suitable for offices, and 5000K produces bright daylight white for commercial and outdoor applications.
Many E26 LED bulbs are dimmable, but not all. Check the product specifications before purchasing if dimmer compatibility is important for your application.
E26 (26 mm diameter) is the North American standard medium screw base. E27 (27 mm) is the international equivalent used in Europe and Asia. The 1 mm difference means an E27 bulb will physically thread into most E26 sockets, but voltage compatibility must be confirmed. E26 fixtures run on 120 V while E27 fixtures typically run on 220–240 V.
E26 LED light bulbs are the practical choice for replacing outdated incandescent and halogen bulbs. Whether you need warm light for a cozy home atmosphere or bright light for commercial applications, our wide selection of E26 bulbs offers options for every need.
