Swami's Beach Encinitas LED Flood Lights
This is the parking lot above the famous Swami's surf spot. The city wanted some light, but not too much, so they went with the Kivo Series with 1/2 inch conduit mount (SKU 31-134).
Moonlight Beach Lifeguard Station Rotating Wall Packs
This was new construction that needed LEDs around the building. They used 9 of our 40 watt Rotating Wall Packs (SKU 51-202).

Planning for San Diego Lighting Upgrades
When to Upgrade?
In San Diego, it's pretty easy. The high cost of energy makes going LED an easy choice. Many LED bulbs and fixtures last 20+ years. Warranty terms vary by product and pricing, with warranties of up to 20 years. Adopt a long-term view before starting your installation. Make sure you understand your fixture, control, mounting, and installation options before committing. If a building has been in use for a long time and will be in use in the foreseeable future, it is advisable to go full retrofit. In such a case, find all the possible methods of cutting costs.
It is advisable to have one lighting family in a facility to ensure consistency and simplify ordering. The lighting plan should match each area, the existing light source, and the aperture size instead of forcing one fixture type into every location of the building. To save money in the future, look for fixtures that can be maintained without requiring complete replacement.
San Diego LED Lighting
Given the rapid and continual improvement in LED technology and the continued reduction in the cost of commercial LED lights, the first step is scheduling a free lighting assessment. It is the basis for an ROI timetable and an overall cost-saving analysis built on your existing system and the estimated cost of installing the LED system.
