The number of lights required for the location depends on the use, height and width of the area. When calculating the lights needed to effectively illuminate the warehouse, the following protocol is observed;
Determine the desired footcandles
Determine the appropriate lumens per fixture
Space the light fixtures out for even lighting
Consider such things as dimming to be used and beam angles to be adjusted.
